With ambitious expansion plans and a dynamic operating environment, the organisation is seeking a strategic leader to drive corporate planning, performance management, and cross‑regional alignment.
Your New Role As General Manager, Corporate Planning, you will serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, driving company‑wide planning, performance oversight, and execution of long‑term growth initiatives.
This role combines strategy development, governance, performance management, and transformation leadership, requiring you to align multiple business units and markets while ensuring disciplined execution across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities 1. Corporate Strategy & Planning
Lead the development and execution of corporate strategy, business plans, and long‑term growth initiatives.
Align company objectives with departmental strategies and operational execution.
Drive clarity, communication, and implementation of strategic priorities across the organisation.
2. Performance Management & Governance
Establish and oversee company‑wide KPI frameworks aligned with business goals.
Monitor group performance and drive accountability across functions.
Present insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership for decision‑making.
3. Management Reporting & Decision Support
Lead preparation of management reports, board materials, and executive updates.
Support leadership teams with data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting across business units.
4. Cross‑Functional & Regional Coordination
Act as a central point of coordination across functions such as finance, operations, HR, and marketing.
Drive alignment and execution across multiple markets and business units.
Facilitate management discussions and ensure follow‑through on strategic decisions.
5. Strategic Projects & Transformation
Lead key transformation initiatives, including organisational alignment and process improvements.
Drive governance enhancements and corporate readiness initiatives.
Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
6. Team Leadership
Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing corporate planning team.
Set clear goals, priorities, and development plans.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
8–15+ years of experience in corporate planning, strategy, consulting, or related leadership roles.
Proven experience working closely with senior leadership or executive teams.
Experience operating in regional or multi‑country environments is preferred.
Exposure to corporate governance, transformation, or large‑scale strategic initiatives is an advantage.
Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
High ownership mindset with the ability to drive cross‑functional outcomes.
Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
