A Global insurance company is seeking an experienced and inspiring IT Director, Project Management Office (PMO) to lead enterprise‑level delivery across critical technology and business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within the PMO portfolio
- Act as a senior Release Train Engineer (RTE) and key member of Agile product and delivery teams
- Ensure ARTs operate with discipline, transparency, and alignment to enterprise priorities
- Champion SAFe practices while balancing consistency with pragmatic flexibility
- Lead PI Planning, ART Sync, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
- Define clear objectives, ensure realistic commitments, and drive measurable outcomes
- Identify, manage, and proactively resolve dependencies, risks, and capacity constraints
- Monitor PI execution end-to-end and drive corrective actions to ensure delivery success
- Establish and maintain enterprise standards for flow, predictability, quality, and value delivery
- Own ART-level metrics and dashboards, including predictability, flow efficiency, throughput, and dependency health
- Use data-driven insights to coach teams, improve delivery performance, and support executive decision-making
- Serve as a servant leader and coach for RTEs, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, and delivery leaders, while advancing Agile maturity across the enterprise
