Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our client in Penang Science Park. In this role, you will be at the heart of the manufacturing operations — translating customer demand into achievable production plans, keeping capacity on track and ensuring materials arrive on time to keep the production floor running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
Perform overall planning activities which included daily production scheduling and customer shipment
Derive, calculate and monitor machine capacities, efficiency and contribution for production
Analyse customer’s forecast demand trends and develop a valid and achievable production plan for resource capacity and material planning
Work with warehouse and buyer to ensure the material can be arrived as needed by production
Handle abnormalities in production
Job Requirement
Proficient in MRP and Microsoft Excel
At least 3 years of working experience in the electronics industry
High sense of urgency and responsibilities
Good planning and organizing skills
