PR/161157 | Production and Material Planner

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our client in Penang Science Park. In this role, you will be at the heart of the manufacturing operations — translating customer demand into achievable production plans, keeping capacity on track and ensuring materials arrive on time to keep the production floor running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform overall planning activities which included daily production scheduling and customer shipment

• Derive, calculate and monitor machine capacities, efficiency and contribution for production

• Analyse customer’s forecast demand trends and develop a valid and achievable production plan for resource capacity and material planning

• Work with warehouse and buyer to ensure the material can be arrived as needed by production

• Handle abnormalities in production

Job Requirement

• Proficient in MRP and Microsoft Excel

• At least 3 years of working experience in the electronics industry

• High sense of urgency and responsibilities

• Good planning and organizing skills
