About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading sports entertainment company focused on empowering young talent through competitive sports, we are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to lead the company's legal, governance, and regulatory functions while supporting its strategic growth initiatives.
This role oversees the company's corporate legal, IPO readiness, regulatory compliance, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) initiatives. The Legal Manager serves as a strategic legal advisor to management, while managing relationships with OJK, BEI, and external legal stakeholders to ensure compliance, mitigate legal risks, and support the company's transition.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Law (Hukum), preferably MH, Magister Kenotariatan, or LL.M., with an active advocate license (PERADI).
Minimum 10-12 years of Corporate Legal experience, including 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.
Proven experience in a Public Company (Tbk) or top-tier Corporate Law Firm, with hands-on involvement in IPO preparation and execution.
Strong expertise in corporate administration, including RUPS, OJK reporting, Corporate Actions, Corporate Governance, and regulatory compliance.
Additional advantages include Corporate Secretary certification, experience in corporate restructuring and M&A, and exposure to the sports, media, and/or retail industry.
Responsibilities
Leading IPO preparations and ensuring compliance with OJK, BEI, and capital market regulations.
Managing RUPS, regulatory reporting, and the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
Establishing compliance frameworks, identifying legal risks, and driving risk mitigation strategies.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating strategic agreements while providing legal counsel to management and the Board of Directors.
Building and maintaining relationships with OJK, BEI, external legal advisors, and other key regulatory stakeholders.
Safeguarding HAKI and protecting the company's legal and commercial interests.
