Job Description

On behalf of our client, one of the leading players in the palm oil and plantation industry, we are currently looking for an experienced Accounting & Tax Manager to join their growing organization.

This role will play a key role in overseeing accounting and tax functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with PSAK and tax regulations, and strong financial controls across the business.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance & Tax, with at least 3 years at Manager level, preferably within palm oil, plantation, agribusiness, or commodity industry.

  3. Experience in a publicly listed company (Tbk) or large-scale corporate environment highly preferred.

  4. Proven experience handling accounting & finance functions across multiple entities/locations.

  5. Proven leadership experience working with Directors, Senior Management, auditors, and tax advisors.

  6. Strong understanding of PSAK, financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls.

  7. Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee Accounting & Financial Reporting, General Ledger, AP, AR, Cash Flow, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Cost Accounting.

  2. Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with PSAK and applicable standards.

  3. Align accounting processes with palm oil & plantation operations.

  4. Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost analysis to support decision-making.

  5. Manage audits (internal & external), reconciliation, and strengthen internal controls.

  6. Oversee corporate tax matters with Tax function and external advisors.

  7. Manage consolidated reporting and intercompany transactions across multiple entities.

  8. Develop and implement Accounting & Finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.

  9. Monitor financial performance and provide insights/recommendations to Directors & Senior Management.

  10. Ensure consistency and standardization of accounting practices across entities and locations.
