Job Description
Hiring: Head of IT (AI Project)
We’re partnering with an exciting global-backed organization launching a new tech-driven projects in Indonesia, focused on AI and digital transformation for Finance & Accounting.
Responsibilities:
Advise leadership on AI adoption, automation, and machine learning use cases that enhance business performance.
Design and implement scalable systems with strong cybersecurity frameworks (IAM, firewalls, endpoint protection).
Develop enterprise solutions and automated workflows aligned with modern FinTech standards.
Set up data architecture to support analytics, business intelligence, and AI deployment.
Manage relationships with ISPs, hardware vendors, and AI/software providers.
Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing IT team as the business grows.
Own everything—from infrastructure and helpdesk to asset management—independently.
Qualifications:
7+ years in IT, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong background in FinTech, InsurTech, or AI-driven environments.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Experience with AI/ML frameworks & data systems.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
Proven ability to build IT functions from scratch.
Strong leadership, independence, and decision-making skills.
Degree in Computer Science / IT / Data Science (or related field).
