A Global clothing retailer is looking for a QA Engineer in relation to POS (Point-of-Sale) System. This position will be responsible for end-to-end testing of POS systems, the engineer should be proficient in debugging mobile applications, and able to create and execute tests to ensure efficient and consistent quality. This position requires someone to be communicative and detail orientated when documenting and communicating bugs, issues and status.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and test software features. Create and execute test cases in partnership with Developers and Product Managers in an Agile environment
- Shapes and verifies the nature of the code under test. Works collaboratively as part of the development team with product managers, software engineers, and architects to define and execute tests throughout the project lifecycle
- Continuously re-evaluates the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules
- Capable of executing complex workflows, analyze and manually test systems, provide clear and concise feedback on issues
- Defines, implements, and executes the functional, regression, and acceptance test strategy on highly iterative and collaborative projects of medium to high complexity in an Agile environment. Test planning, exploratory and manual testing, defect logging and verification
- Defines, creates, and maintains test data as required. Supports (2nd level) and troubleshoot problems with existing applications
