Bilingual Senior IT Manager

A Global Lifestyle firm is looking for a Senior IT Manager to lead technology operations and strategy for the Japan business. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems and applications, while aligning local initiatives with global standards. 

Responsibilities:
- Align local IT strategy with Japan business goals and global direction
- Lead, develop, and manage the local IT team and budget
- Oversee daily IT operations and ensure system reliability, security, and compliance
- Manage vendors, costs, and coordination with global infrastructure teams
- Oversee retail applications (POS, OMS, warehouse) and ensure integration with global systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA)
- Support deployments, upgrades, shared applications, and end-user services
- Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance
- Design and deliver technical solutions aligned with global architecture and security standards
- Lead local IT projects, support global initiatives, and manage change
- Enforce global security policies and meet Japanese legal requirements; coordinate audits and incidents
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate IT performance and initiatives
- Recruit, mentor, and develop the IT team, including performance reviews and training

Working Hours: 9：30～18：00, Mon-Fri
Working Style: Hybrid  (3days per week) and Work from Home (2days per week)
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays; 2 days of summer vacation (July–September); half-day work every Friday; Premium Friday observed.

- IT Leadership & Retail Expertise
- Proven experience managing IT operations and projects in Japan; expertise in enterprise systems, IT infrastructure, security, compliance, and vendor/budget management
- Excellent leadership and bilingual communication (Japanese/English)
- Ability to work in a global matrix organization
