Responsibilities

Mission / Challenges

• Ensure high product reliability and stable service delivery
• Improve system availability, latency, performance, and capacity
• Provide a low-latency, cost-efficient, flexible infrastructure that supports rapid software development
• Collaborate with the security team on product security design and compliance (ISMS, SOC2, etc.)

Example Tasks

• Build and maintain automation tools and processes for system operation, monitoring, and management
• Design and implement alerting and monitoring systems, participate in on-call rotations
• Automate workflows to reduce toil
• Work with developers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions

Required Skills

• At least 4 years of experience as an SRE
• Experience developing web apps or automation tools (Golang, Python, etc.)
• Cloud management experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure) using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.)
• Experience managing or operating Kubernetes / AWS ECS
• 1+ year of SaaS operations experience
• Business level Japanese (JLPT N2+)
• Business level English

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• IAM or organization management experience in public cloud environments
• Experience building ML/Generative AI infrastructure or pipelines
• Incident response to high-load servers or DB throughput issues
• Familiarity with error budgets, postmortems, and SRE best practices
• Experience designing Internal Developer Platforms (IDP)
• Public speaking at tech conferences or meetups
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems (scalability, fault tolerance, consistency)
• Cybersecurity or compliance experience (J-SOX, ISMS, SOC2, etc.)
• Contributions to open-source projects
