No Japanese Required Senior Frontend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript
• Lead architectural discussions and make key technical decisions
• Resolve complex issues such as performance bottlenecks and legacy debt reduction
• Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
• Mentor and review junior engineers to raise overall team capability
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders
• Stay updated with the latest frontend and SaaS technologies, and promote their adoption

Expected Role

You will act as the technical leader of the frontend team — focusing purely on engineering excellence and technical strategy (people management is handled by an Engineering Manager).
Your leadership will directly shape the engineering culture, product quality, and technical standards of the organization.

Work Style

Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Must-Have

• 4+ years of frontend development experience using React
• Experience building enterprise SaaS applications
• 2+ years of mentoring or technical leadership experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases

Nice-to-Have

• Experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Vietnamese language skills (for collaboration with Geniee Vietnam)
