In this role, you'll collaborate with both prospective and existing clients, working on and off-site to deliver solutions based on our products (Dovecot Pro, OX App Suite, and PowerDNS). You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams, manage high-profile projects, and serve as a technical expert and main point of contact for customer issues. Self-starters who can independently manage their workload and have strong customer management skills will excel in this role.

Your Role

  • Engage with customers, assess their needs, and craft custom solutions.
  • Troubleshooting based on issues reproduction and log analysis, etc.
  • Bridge the gap between customers and our Engineering team.
  • Design, deploy, and roll out large-scale customer projects.
  • Provide technical guidance during complex deployments.
  • Create system architectures, performance benchmarks, and on-site installations.
  • Train customer administrators and support teams.
  • Document projects and systems thoroughly.
  • Be the go-to contact for technical issues during implementation.
  • Collaborate with OX Engineering, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Project teams.
  • Support system deployment experts.
  • Work on-site with customers or from our Tokyo office.

顧客は主に、通信会社、大手 ISP、Sier です。

  • 問題の再現およびログ解析等からのトラブルシューティング
  • 海外のエンジニアチームとの連携によるエスカレーション対応
  • 弊社製品を使用するシステム構築・デプロイメントのコンサルテーション、プロジェクト管理
  • 顧客からの技術的な問い合わせ管理、対応
  • 顧客とのプロジェクトおよびサポートに関するミーティング
  • 営業、プリセールス、プロジェクトチームとの連携

   本社ドイツやヨーロッパ圏のメンバーとのやり取りも多いため、フレキシブルに対応しています。

Required Skills

What will help you succeed

  • 5+ years in system management or development.
  • Expertise in Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Debian, or SLES).
  • Strong customer expectation management skills.
  • Proficient in system architecture and design.
  • In-depth knowledge of Internet E-Mail systems, SMTP/IMAP, and mail routing.
  • Experience working with container solutions, such like Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with mission-critical systems.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Service-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent team player with top-notch communication skills in Japanese and ideally English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with DNS, Apache Cassandra, MySQL, Ansible, OpenStack, AWS, and Programming skills in such as C/C++, golang, Java, Javascript or Python

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant experience in the Managed Service or SaaS market, especially in Telco, Mobile, Cable, or ISP sectors.
