We are looking for a General Manager Operations for our client, a leading multinational company in the tobacco sector.
The role will be responsible for leading the entire plant & manufacturing operations, covering production, people, compliance, and overall results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Economics.
5–10 years’ proven experience leading large-scale manufacturing operations, in tobacco sector.
Strong leadership track record managing 1,000+ employees, with solid experience coordinating across multiple departments.
Certified in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and industry regulations, with established networks with regulators and local communities.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all plant & manufacturing operations.
Deliver strong performance in cost efficiency, productivity, quality, waste reduction, and on-time delivery.
Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
Lead, coach, and develop your team and the wider organization to achieve excellence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to raise standards in quality, cost, people, and compliance.
