e-solutions’s mission is to help drive new sources of business that can address social problems through our business creation and coordination – in which we design a better future and create new and sustainable value to the society.
Three Axes of ‘Business Creation and Coordination’ Activities
Social Problems
Rather than blindly accepting the status quo, e-solutions takes on challenges that can help positively impact our community, in order to help contribute to a more sustainable society.
Future Design
We look beyond the immediacy of problems and seek to design for the future. We aspire to help create a “legacy” of continually positive impact in our community and society.
Sustainability
e-solutions looks to drive new streams of high-value, sustainable business to our partners. This value creation can be essential in leaving a long-term, positive impact on our community.
PROJECTS
Team Minus 6%
We planned and managed a national campaign for reducing carbon emission – best known for introducing the concept ‘Cool Biz’ to Japanese society. Within 5 years, the participants reached nearly 35,000 companies and more than 334,000 individuals – making it one of the historical national movements in Japan.
Smart City Project
With the aim to promote the export of Japanese Smart City solutions, we established Smart City Consortium, inviting 27 companies from various sectors that make up a ‘Smart City’ and promoted its businesses in both domestic and international projects.
Fukushima Sakura Project
In order to keep the recovery momentum from the Great East Japan Earthquake, we planted cherry trees named “Haruka” as a symbol of recovery across Japan, and each year, hosted an event in Fukushima prefecture to commemorate and to send out the message of its firm progress towards recovery.
