Company and Job Overview
Our client is a reputable trading company seeking a Business Development Executive to drive business growth in Malaysia. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, building and maintaining relationships with customers and business partners, coordinating projects, and monitoring business activities from opportunity identification through to project execution and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of new projects by coordinating timelines, documentation, stakeholders, and project activities

• Act as the key liaison between customers, suppliers, internal teams, and business partners to ensure smooth project implementation

• Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, compliance requirements, and provide regular updates to management

• Conduct market research and gather business intelligence on industry trends, competitors, and new opportunities to support strategic growth

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, technology providers, and strategic partners while identifying potential business opportunities

• Support business growth initiatives through pipeline management, proposal preparation, commercial discussions, and business planning activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field

• 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, project coordination, or a related commercial role

• Strong in business development, market research, and identifying new opportunities

• Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with customers, suppliers, business partners, and internal stakeholders

• Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willing to travel when required
