Position: Store Development Staff – Japanese Speaking

Salary: THB 80,000 – 100,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bangkok

Our client is a leading Japanese home furnishing and lifestyle retail company with a strong international presence. As the business continues to expand in Thailand, the company is looking for Japanese-speaking professionals with experience in the retail industry to join its Store Development team.

Responsibilities:

• Support new store openings and retail expansion projects in Thailand.

• Research and survey potential locations for new stores, including shopping malls and commercial areas.

• Analyze target customers, market potential, competitors, and sales opportunities for each location.

• Coordinate with shopping malls, landlords, suppliers, and business partners regarding new store projects.

• Support rental conditions, lease agreements, and other documentation related to store development.

• Coordinate store layout, display, setup, and preparation for new store openings.

• Support sales forecasting, store performance analysis, and business planning.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners throughout each store development project.

• Prepare reports, presentations, and business documents for management.

• Communicate and coordinate with Japanese management and overseas teams.

• Support existing stores with promotional and business development activities when required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the Retail industry is highly preferred.

• Background in Retail Operations, Store Development, Store Planning, Business Development, Leasing, Store Expansion, or Commercial/Shopping Mall coordination will be considered.

• Experience supporting new store openings, store relocation, mall coordination, store layout, or location research will be an advantage.

• Japanese communication skills are highly preferred (JLPT N2–N1 or equivalent).

• Good communication skills in English.

• Strong coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Driving license will be an advantage.
