About the role

The Senior Design Manager will lead and oversee design management activities for residential development projects, ensuring high design quality, technical accuracy, and smooth project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design function for residential development projects.

• Review construction drawings and provide accurate technical guidance to project teams and consultants.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is properly implemented.

• Oversee design quality, compliance, and project timelines throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support decision-making on technical and design-related matters.

• Manage and mentor a team of up to 20 members, ensuring effective performance and capability development.

• Drive collaboration across departments to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in residential development projects.

• Strong ability to review construction drawings and provide practical, accurate technical instructions.

• Proven people management experience, including managing teams of up to 20 members.

• Business-level English communication skills.

• Vietnamese or Japanese nationality.

• Typically suited for candidates in their late 30s and above.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
