As an Industrial Cooling Systems Supervisor, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of technical systems at our land-based salmon farming facility in Mie.

This position combines overall maintenance supervision with specialized knowledge of industrial cooling, refrigeration, chilled water, HVAC, and temperature-control systems. You will provide technical leadership to the maintenance team and support continuous improvements in equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and System Reliability

• Supervise maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, utility, and process systems.
• Maintain and improve equipment availability through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps, valves, HVAC systems, compressors, generators, water-treatment equipment, and other critical plant infrastructure.
• Lead troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis for critical or recurring equipment failures.

Industrial Cooling Systems

• Oversee the maintenance and reliability of industrial cooling, chilled water, refrigeration, and temperature-control systems.
• Provide technical support for chillers, heat exchangers, cooling circuits, pumps, valves, piping, HVAC equipment, and associated control systems.
• Coordinate corrective actions and system restoration following cooling-system failures or abnormal operating conditions.
• Support improvements in cooling capacity, temperature control, energy efficiency, and equipment reliability.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team.
• Allocate work priorities and monitor maintenance execution.
• Ensure maintenance activities are properly planned, scheduled, safely executed, and documented.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, other technical departments, and external contractors.
• Promote technical ownership, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

• Use SCADA and CMMS platforms to monitor equipment performance, failures, maintenance history, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support maintenance planning, budgets, spare-parts requirements, and contractor coordination.
• Identify and implement improvements related to equipment performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and lifespan.

Health, Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and applicable technical requirements.
• Ensure that appropriate isolation, risk-assessment, and safe-work procedures are followed.
• Promote safe maintenance practices across the team.

• Working Schedule: Rotating 4 days on / 4 days off, 12-hour shift pattern

産業用冷却設備スーパーバイザーとして、三重県で稼働予定の陸上サーモン養殖施設における設備の安全性、信頼性および効率的な運転を支えていただきます。

本ポジションでは、工場全体のメンテナンス業務を監督するとともに、産業用冷却、冷凍、冷水、空調および温度管理設備に関する専門知識を活かし、メンテナンスチームを技術面からリードしていただきます。

主な業務内容

メンテナンスおよび設備信頼性

• 機械、電気、ユーティリティおよびプロセス設備に関するメンテナンス業務の監督
• 予防保全、予知保全および事後保全を通じた設備稼働率の維持・向上
• ポンプ、バルブ、HVAC、コンプレッサー、発電機、水処理設備などの保守およびトラブルシューティング
• 重大または再発性のある設備故障に対する原因分析（RCA）および改善対応

産業用冷却設備

• 産業用冷却、冷水、冷凍および温度管理設備の保守・信頼性管理
• チラー、熱交換器、冷却回路、ポンプ、バルブ、配管、HVACおよび関連制御設備への技術支援
• 冷却設備の故障や異常発生時における是正対応および設備復旧の調整
• 冷却能力、温度管理、エネルギー効率および設備信頼性の改善

チームマネジメント

• メンテナンスチームの監督、育成および業務優先順位の管理
• 保全作業の計画、スケジュール、安全な実施および記録管理
• Operations、Engineering、その他の技術部門および外部業者との連携
• 技術的オーナーシップ、チームワークおよび継続的改善の推進

モニタリングおよび継続的改善

• SCADAおよびCMMSを活用した設備性能、故障履歴、保全履歴および予防保全活動の管理
• 保全計画、予算、予備品および外部業者の管理支援
• 設備性能、エネルギー効率、信頼性および設備寿命の改善

安全衛生およびコンプライアンス

• 安全衛生、環境および関連する技術要件の遵守
• 適切な設備隔離、リスクアセスメントおよび安全作業手順の徹底
• メンテナンスチームにおける安全文化の推進

【スキル・資格 / Skills and Qualifications】

Essential Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration and HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, Process Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
• At least five years of experience in industrial maintenance or technical operations.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a maintenance team.
• Strong practical knowledge of industrial cooling, chilled water, refrigeration, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, piping, HVAC, and industrial utility systems.
• Technical experience with industrial cooling and temperature-control systems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, equipment documentation, and system layouts.
• Business-level Japanese.
• Conversational-level English.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience using SCADA, CMMS, or other maintenance-management systems.
• Experience in equipment troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience coordinating with external contractors and multiple technical departments.
• Experience supporting maintenance plans, budgets, spare-parts management, or energy-efficiency improvements.
• Experience working in a continuous-operation plant or facility.
