The Role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a finance team and support financial reporting, consolidation, statutory accounting, compliance, and process improvement activities across multiple entities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to gain exposure to complex group structures, international reporting requirements, and stakeholder management within a growing investment-focused organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare quarterly management accounts for designated entities and third-party accounts.
Support the preparation of management reporting for larger group entities.
Assist with quarterly consolidation processes and supporting schedules.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to international stakeholders.
Support the preparation of statutory financial statements for multiple entities.
Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and financial reporting.
Review financial statements prepared by third parties and identify significant changes or risks.
Audit & Compliance
Review VAT reporting, reconciliations, and related compliance processes.
Support tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
Prepare statistical and regulatory returns for internal review.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and operational efficiency.
Support the implementation and enhancement of finance systems.
Share knowledge and best practices across the finance team.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Support
Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including journal review and payment processing.
Provide cover for key finance activities during team absences.
Collaborate closely with colleagues to support team performance and professional development.
