Description
- Lead backend development projects from planning and requirements definition through deployment
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to define solutions and priorities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and batch processing systems
- Drive architectural decisions with a focus on performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
- Produce technical specifications, system design documentation, and implementation plans
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical growth within the organization
- Lead technical discussions and present proposals to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- 3+ years of team leadership or people management experience
- Proven experience delivering software projects from requirements gathering through production release
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams including Product, Frontend, and QA
- Business-level English communication skills
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot within large-scale environments
- Extensive experience designing RESTful APIs and implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with container technologies, Docker, and CI/CD environments
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices and web security principles
- Experience conducting code reviews and establishing development standards
- Agile or Scrum delivery experience
- Experience acting as a technical lead for stakeholder communication
- Strong system design and microservices architecture knowledge
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Expertise in performance optimization and scalability improvements
