Cloud Engineer - up to 16M & need JP + GCP

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced cloud infrastructure engineer to help automate, provision, and maintain modern cloud environments. This role focuses on building reliable infrastructure automation, improving deployment processes, and delivering scalable platform capabilities through infrastructure-as-code and configuration management practices.

Working closely with engineering, operations, and security teams, you will help establish consistent cloud delivery standards, improve operational efficiency, and enable repeatable infrastructure deployments across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure automation components for cloud environments.
• Build and support configuration management and deployment automation for infrastructure and applications.
• Deliver end-to-end infrastructure provisioning, validation, and production deployment processes.
• Integrate infrastructure automation into continuous delivery workflows.
• Implement secure access controls and environment governance using automated processes.
• Maintain infrastructure state management, version control, and reusable automation standards.
• Monitor infrastructure consistency and resolve configuration drift.
• Create reusable automation assets and documentation to improve delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with security and governance teams to incorporate compliance requirements into deployment processes.
• Support container platform deployment and ongoing operational improvements.
• Participate in solution design discussions and recommend automation best practices.
• Contribute to internal platform tooling that enables self-service infrastructure delivery.

Required:

• Several years of experience delivering cloud infrastructure and automation solutions.
• Strong experience developing infrastructure-as-code for enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience with configuration management and deployment automation.
• Good understanding of public cloud infrastructure, networking, identity management, storage, and compute services.
• Experience implementing automated infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with source control workflows and automated deployment pipelines.

Preferred:

• Industry-recognized cloud or infrastructure automation certifications.
• Experience with automated machine image creation.
• Exposure to container platforms and cloud-native application deployment.
• Experience supporting modern data or AI platform infrastructure.
• Knowledge of infrastructure governance, compliance automation, or policy enforcement frameworks.
• Experience contributing to shared engineering platforms or developer enablement initiatives.
