Delivery Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules for cloud infrastructure, including container orchestration, databases, networking, identity and access management, and object storage.
• Develop and maintain configuration management playbooks, roles, and automation for system configuration, application deployment, and operational tasks.
• Own the end-to-end infrastructure delivery lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Integrate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management workflows into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement identity and access management policies as code, following least-privilege principles and environment segregation.
• Manage infrastructure state, versioning, and module lifecycle using industry best practices.
• Perform infrastructure drift detection, validation, and remediation through automated workflows.
• Build reusable, modular, and well-documented infrastructure and automation assets for organization-wide use.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to embed governance and security controls into infrastructure automation.
• Provision, configure, and support container platforms and application infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide recommendations for scalable, secure, and maintainable infrastructure solutions.
• Contribute to internal platform engineering initiatives that enable self-service infrastructure provisioning and operational automation

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and modular infrastructure development.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure services, including compute, networking, storage, databases, and identity management.
• Experience implementing infrastructure security and access controls through automation.
• Experience integrating infrastructure automation into CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, firewalls, NAT, and DNS.
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting for automation.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry-recognized cloud or infrastructure automation certifications.
• Experience with image creation and provisioning automation.
• Familiarity with container platforms, serverless architectures, and cloud-native services.
• Experience provisioning AI/ML infrastructure or data platform services.
• Knowledge of policy-as-code, compliance automation, and infrastructure governance tools.
• Experience contributing to developer platforms, reusable automation frameworks, or platform engineering initiatives.
