Field Service Engineer – Chiller & Lab Refrigeration - Hanoi Capital Region

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair chiller systems and laboratory refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of cooling systems, enjoys hands-on fieldwork, and can deliver high‑quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on chiller and laboratory refrigeration products.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance testing to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with technical standards.
• Provide on-site technical support, training, and product guidance to customers.
• Document service activities, repair reports, and parts usage accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with internal teams (technical support, spare parts, sales) to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in proper operating condition.
  Follow safety procedures and adhere to company and customer site requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in field service, preferably with chillers, refrigeration, HVAC, or laboratory equipment.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, compressors, pumps, electrical wiring, and control systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with laboratory-grade chillers, ultra-low freezers, environmental chambers, or similar equipment.

• Certification in HVAC/refrigeration is a plus.
