Job Description
- Develop sourcing and procurement strategies for seat belts and safety components.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Manage supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.
- Drive cost reduction, localization, and value engineering initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and customer requirements.
- Support new product development and supplier readiness.
- Expertise in supplier development, strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
- Lead and mentor the purchase team.
- Coordinate with all departments and HQ in Japan.
