This role leads server-side design and development for a newly launched consumer fintech service, delivering high-quality, scalable APIs and batch systems. You will collaborate across teams to ship impactful features used by thousands of users while driving engineering excellence.

Description
- Lead design and development of server-side applications (API, batch) using Java
- Drive system architecture and basic design decisions for scalability and performance
- Collaborate with product, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver new features
- Write and maintain high-quality, testable code (unit testing, edge cases)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving engineering processes
- Participate in full lifecycle development: requirements, design, build, test, release
- Work in an Agile/Scrum team environment

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience developing and operating Java-based server-side systems
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (including Spring Batch)
- Solid experience with database schema design and efficient querying (RDB/NoSQL)
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous processing (e.g., Kafka)
- Proven problem-solving skills in complex, ambiguous situations
- Experience building/maintaining CI/CD environments with Kubernetes
- Proficiency with Git-based version control tools
- Experience working in collaborative, team-based development environments
- Experience in mobile or web application development and operations
- Knowledge of security and performance tuning
- Experience with public cloud platforms
- Experience working in multinational teams using English
