Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve logistics and supply chain processes across domestic and international operations.
  • Manage day-to-day transportation and logistics activities, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
  • Monitor transaction and inventory movements within enterprise systems, investigating and resolving operational exceptions.
  • Address transportation, delivery, and service-related issues to maintain operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee logistics-related costs, including vendor invoicing, budget tracking, and purchase requisitions.
  • Manage relationships and performance of external logistics service providers and transportation partners.
  • Analyze operational costs and identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Track and report key operational performance indicators, including delivery accuracy, lead times, service levels, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and operational initiatives.
  • Maintain and update operational procedures, documentation, and process guidelines.
  • Lead or support projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
  • Prepare and deliver regular operational and performance reports to management.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, warehouse management, or related operational functions.
  • Experience in process analysis, continuous improvement, and operational optimization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of international trade, transportation, import/export operations, or supply chain processes is an advantage.
