Company Overview
Our client is a global contractor with a prestigious heritage in marine engineering, land reclamation, and large-scale civil construction. They are renowned for delivering iconic infrastructure, high-tech industrial facilities, and complex building projects. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Planning Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including detailed baseline schedules, milestones, and resource allocation. Identify potential delays early and implement effective mitigation strategies.

• Change Management & Claims: Oversee change orders and assess their impact on completion dates. Provide critical technical support for the preparation and substantiation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims.

• Resource Optimization: Effectively allocate personnel, materials, and equipment. Coordinate closely with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure adequate staffing and skill sets are maintained across all project phases.

• Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify risks, and ensure full compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a central point of communication for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Facilitate project meetings and provide transparent progress updates.

• Project Closeout: Manage the completion of all project activities, ensuring final documentation (as-built drawings/records) is accurate and all EOT claims are successfully resolved.

Key Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Industry Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in the built environment, specifically within large-scale building or infrastructure projects.

• Technical Niche: Must have completed at least one Reclamation Project.

• Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of construction methodologies and integrated construction management.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders from both local and international backgrounds.
