Job Title: Team Supervisor, Maintenance Consumer Department: Maintenance
Reporting To: Deputy Section Chief, Maintenance Location: Plot no. 3, APIIC Industrial Park, mambattu road, kadaluru ward, Tada mandal, AP. 524121.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee installation of all production machinery.
• Ensure availability of all supporting documents (manuals, drawings, etc.).
• Verify proper functioning of machines before handover.
• Take formal handover of machines post-installation.
• Handle installation of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Prepare and implement monthly preventive maintenance (PM) plans in coordination with the Production team.
• Revise PM schedules based on production changes.
• Take and return machine handover with Production for PM activities.
• Ensure execution of PM as per schedule.
• Ensure proper electrical connections and uninterrupted power flow.
• Ensure safety of all electrical and electronic equipment.
• Maintain safety standards within and around the factory.
• Maintain proper maintenance records and documentation.
• Minimize machine breakdowns and production downtime.
• Ensure quick repair and restoration of machines.
• Conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of breakdowns and actions taken.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts.
• Set machine parameters and applicators as per production requirements.
• Ensure production output meets Quality Control (QC) standards.
• Maintain operational documentation.
• Provide training to production staff on machine handling and equipment operation.
• Maintain ISO-related records and documentation.
• Represent the Maintenance department during audits.
Essentials:
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field
• Min. 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems
• Understanding of safety standards and compliance
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
