Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:-
 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality, HR) to ensure seamless implementation of safety standards across all operations.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to integrate safety objectives with operational goals and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Support and guide team members in identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing effective control measures within their respective areas.
  • Lead by example in fostering a proactive safety culture, encouraging team accountability and ownership of workplace safety.
  • Coordinate with team leaders and supervisors to ensure compliance with safety procedures, policies, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Facilitate team-based safety initiatives such as toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure safe installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Assist HR and training teams in developing and delivering safety training programs to enhance employee awareness and competency.
  • Collaborate with emergency response teams to plan and execute mock drills, ensuring readiness and effective coordination during emergencies.
  • Engage with contractor teams to ensure adherence to site safety standards and promote consistent safety practices across all external workforce.
  • Analyze safety data, incidents, and observations in coordination with the team to identify trends and implement preventive strategies.
  • Encourage open communication within teams to report unsafe conditions or behaviors without hesitation, promoting a transparent safety environment.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits by coordinating with various departments for timely documentation and compliance.
