Position: Supervisor (Manufacturer)
Location:
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze manufacturing workflows to increase yield, minimize waste, and decrease cycle times.
2. Design product testing methods, monitor process capabilities, and enforce quality standards to reduce defect rates.
3. Identify root causes of equipment or product defects and implement corrective actions.
4. Design, configure, and upgrade production systems, equipment, and standard operating procedures
5. Design factory layouts, production lines, and workstations to maximize throughput and minimize bottlenecks.
6. Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train production personnel on new processes.
7. Work with supply chain, design, and management teams to ensure new products transition smoothly into mass production
8. Install, test, and integrate new machinery, as well as schedule routine maintenance to prevent equipment downtime.
9. Interpret operational data using statistical process control to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
10. Ensure all processes comply with health, environmental, and industry safety standards
11. Develop, update, and deploy SOPs, quality manuals, and work instructions in alignment with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
12. Oversee the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) core tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and PPAP.
13. Lead internal quality audits across all production shifts and coordinate external customer or certification body audits.
14. Investigate defect rates, scrap levels, and customer complaints using structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D reports, Ishikawa diagrams).
15. Monitor incoming material quality, drive supplier performance improvements, and assess vendor PPAP submissions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related.
Experienced in Automotive Manufacturing for at least 2 years.
Working Experience in depth knowledge of lean Manufacturing, 5S and ERP system.
Strong of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC)
Knowledge in ISO / IATF16949, document control.
