Your New Company A well‑established consumer goods organisation with a strong presence in manufacturing and distribution is looking to strengthen its quality assurance and regulatory leadership capabilities. With operations spanning multiple markets and a growing export footprint, the company is committed to maintaining high standards in product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

Your New Role As QA & Regulatory Manager (Regional), you will oversee quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple manufacturing sites, external partners, and regional markets.

This role is highly strategic and hands‑on, requiring you to drive governance frameworks, manage risk, and ensure compliance across diverse markets, while supporting business expansion and maintaining strong quality standards. Key Responsibilities 1. QA Governance & Risk Management

• Lead and enhance quality assurance frameworks across manufacturing sites, external partners, and regional operations.

• Review and assess major quality, food safety, and compliance issues, driving corrective and preventive actions.

• Identify and escalate critical risks to senior management where required.

   

2. Supplier, Material & Packaging Qualification

• Oversee qualification and approval processes for raw materials and packaging.

• Evaluate alternative materials to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

3. OEM & Partner Oversight

• Manage qualification and audit processes for external manufacturing partners.

• Conduct gap assessments and ensure follow‑up actions are implemented.

• Ensure partners meet established quality, safety, and compliance expectations.

4. Regulatory Compliance & Market Requirements

• Ensure product compliance with applicable food regulations, labelling requirements, and product claims across multiple markets.

• Assess regulatory requirements for new products, ingredients, and market expansions.

• Maintain regulatory frameworks, documentation, and compliance processes.

• Engage with internal stakeholders and external advisors to support regulatory alignment.

5. QA Support & Capability Development

• Provide guidance to internal teams on quality investigations, food safety, and compliance matters.

• Support alignment of QA practices across different sites and business units.

• Promote sharing of best practices and strengthen QA capabilities across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in QA, food safety, or regulatory compliance within food or beverage manufacturing.

• Experience managing quality and compliance across multiple sites or external manufacturing partners.

• Strong knowledge of food safety systems (e.g. HACCP, GFSI) and regulatory requirements.

• Familiarity with regional and export market regulations and labelling standards.

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
