Company Overview
Our client is a new start up MNC in chemical manufacturing company seeking a Logistics Senior Executive to manage and optimize our import and export operations. This role plays a critical part in customs compliance, cost optimization, and ensuring smooth cross-border logistics to support uninterrupted production and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage import and export customs documentation for chemical products in compliance with Malaysian regulations.
Ensure accurate HS code classification and effective use of FTAs (RCEP, ASEAN) to reduce duty costs.
Handle exemption forms, analyze duties and SST, and drive logistics cost optimization.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth clearance and operations.
Maintain accurate logistics and customs data using SAP/CMS and office systems.
Identify compliance risks, ensure 100% regulatory adherence, and support audits when required.
Prepare and execute logistics contingency plans to manage disruptions and ensure production continuity.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields.
Minimum 3–5 years of import/export and customs experience, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industry.
Sound knowledge of Malaysian customs regulations, HS codes, SST, and FTAs.
Experience working with freight forwarders and customs agents.
Proficient in SAP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
