【Accounting Senior Manager】Global Consumer Goods Leader

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity to join a leading global consumer business as a key member of the Corporate Accounting team. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, technical accounting matters, audit and tax coordination, and driving accounting-related projects and process improvements. The position partners closely with senior leadership to support compliance, financial transparency, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external financial reporting and disclosures.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and advisors.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to business stakeholders.
• Lead accounting, compliance, and system-related projects.
• Support tax reporting and tax-related initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management.
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Manage, coach, and develop team members.

Requirements

• CPA qualification (Japan CPA preferred; equivalent qualifications considered).
• Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, and audit.
• Team management and stakeholder management experience.
• Proven project leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Japanese communication skills (JLPT N1 level or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree or above.

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 accounting firm experience.
• Experience within a listed or multinational company.
• Business-level English.
