An international professional services organization is seeking a Legal Research Specialist to support legal and business research activities in Japan. This role will work closely with both local and international teams to provide research support, regulatory updates, and information services for various practice areas. The position offers an opportunity to operate in a highly international environment with regular use of English.


Key Responsibilities
 

• Conduct legal, regulatory, and business research to support internal teams
• Manage and respond to research requests through internal systems and workflows
• Prepare and distribute legal updates, research summaries, and newsletters
• Conduct corporate and market research to support transactional and advisory matters
• Provide guidance and training on research tools and information resources
• Collaborate with regional and international colleagues on research-related projects
• Utilize online legal and business research platforms to gather and analyze information
• Maintain research materials and support knowledge-sharing initiatives

Qualifications
 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal research, information services, or related fields
• Experience supporting professional services or corporate environments is preferred
• Strong English communication skills
• Familiarity with legal or business research databases is an advantage
• Experience using request management or workflow systems is preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in an international and collaborative environment

応募資格
 

• 法務リサーチ、情報サービス、または関連分野での実務経験3年以上
• プロフェッショナルサービス業界または企業内サポート経験歓迎
• 英語でのコミュニケーション能力
• 法務・ビジネス系リサーチデータベース使用経験歓迎
• リクエスト管理システム等の使用経験歓迎
• 自立して業務を進められる方
• 高い分析力および情報整理能力
• 国際的な環境での協業に抵抗のない方
