Our client is looking to someone who you will design and build scalable backend systems while collaborating closely with global engineering, product, finance, and operations teams. This is a highly autonomous position suited for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges in a modern cloud-native environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend systems and services
- Lead projects from architecture through deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams
- Build reliable, maintainable, and high-performance systems
- Contribute to modernizing financial infrastructure in Japan
Requirements:
- Fluent-level Japanese (JLPT N1) or Native Japanese and Business level English
- Strong backend development experience with one of the following tech stack; Go, Java, Rust, Kotlin, C#, Scala or C++.
- Experience with system design and scalable architectures
- Hands-on experience with GCP, PostgreSQL, gRPC, and protobuf
- Ideally experience in working in the financial domain
