Job Description

This is a hands-on QA leadership role focused on defining quality strategy, establishing testing standards, and enabling engineers to take full ownership of quality through automation, tools, and best practices.

It is a high-impact, time-bound position (1-2 years) working across engineering, product, and architecture, requiring strong QA expertise and business-level Japanese communication skills.

Description

  • Define and implement the overall QA strategy, standards, and best practices across the software development lifecycle
  • Establish automated and manual testing frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines with clear quality gates
  • Coach and enable engineers to take ownership of quality, providing hands-on support, training, and reusable templates
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed quality into design and delivery, using metrics and data to drive continuous improvement
