Position:  Area Manager (Agricultural Promotion)

Salary:      50,000 – 60,000THB +/- (Negotiable) 

Location:   Prachinburi, Thailand

 

Our client is a well-known pulp and paper manufacturer.

 

Key Responsibilities of the position:

• Supervise and manage the team to ensure efficient performance and achievement of goals.

• Plan, control, and monitor team operations according to defined objectives and work plans; oversee, evaluate, and ensure team performance aligns with expectations.

• Manage overall network development of agents and brokers within the assigned area.

• Coordinate with relevant government agencies.

• Plan harvesting schedules for each planting cycle and coordinate with logistics teams for raw material transportation.

• Assign tasks appropriately, prioritize work based on circumstances, and provide guidance and consultation to team members.

• Act as a liaison to build trust and maintain good relationships with landowners and farmers.

• Monitor, evaluate, and report operational results to senior management.

• Manage agents and brokers in the area by developing their knowledge and capabilities to effectively support farmers.

• Plan and implement strategies to expand the membership network to cover target areas.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations such as government agencies, research institutions, or universities to improve pulpwood cultivation.

• Support company projects and policies, promoting pulpwood planting in line with corporate goals and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Marketing, or related fields.

• At least 3 years of experience in agricultural promotion or systematic agricultural area management. Previous experience as a supervisor in sugarcane or large-scale crop promotion will be an advantage.

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a personal car for work use.

• Willingness to travel and work in other provinces.
