Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
A dynamic opportunity for a creative professional to lead social media, community engagement, and marketing content across multiple platforms for a growing games portfolio. This role offers high autonomy and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and enjoys connecting with passionate gaming communities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Content Creation & Editing:

  • Produce and edit marketing content including social posts, video clips, and trailer scripts

  • Maintain consistency with brand voice and game messaging

 

Social Media Management:

  • Manage major social platforms (Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)

  • Plan and execute campaigns around key launches

  • Track engagement metrics and optimize content performance

 

Community Engagement:

  • Interact with fans on Discord, Reddit, and social channels

  • Monitor community sentiment and share insights with internal teams

  • Support community events and livestreams

     

 

Cross-team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, PR, and development teams to gather assets

  • Coordinate with external creators when necessary

  • Create postmortem reports analyzing campaign performance and recommending improvements

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in content marketing, social media, or community management

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills

  • Experience scripting trailers or short-form content

  • Ability to produce or edit social media videos

  • Deep understanding of gaming culture and online communities

  • Professional experience managing social media accounts

     

 

PREFERRED 

  • Experience managing gaming communities or Discord servers

  • Livestream or creator-collaboration experience

  • Knowledge of JRPGs or Japanese games

     

 

SALARY  USD $90,000-120,000

 

LOCATION Santa Ana, CA

 

WORKING STYLE Hybrid (3 times/week in the office)
