Job Description
COMPANY OVERVIEW
A global pet food company is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join the team. This role involves oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, staff and transport management, while driving efficiency, safety, and on‑time deliveries.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, and outbound activities.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by reconciling physical stock with WMS and coordinating closely with sales, logistics, and accounting teams.
- Supervise warehouse staff and 3PL partners, ensuring productivity, discipline, safety, and SOP compliance.
- Manage transportation and deliveries, including route planning, inbound containers, and on‑time/in‑full (OTIF) performance.
- Drive operational improvements, including system digitalization, process optimization, KPI tracking, and regular performance reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, WMS systems, and stock reconciliation.
- Experience managing warehouse teams, transporters, and 3PL providers.
- Good analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to monitor KPIs, costs, and operational performance.
- Familiar with safety standards, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
