PR/160253 | IT Engineer (Manufacturing)

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented IT Engineer to manage and maintain the company’s internal and external communication systems, network infrastructure, and office IT equipment. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth connectivity and system reliability across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain and support internal network and communication equipment (e.g., VPN, wireless access points, firewalls).
2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, including PCs, laptops, printers, and projectors.
3. Manage video conferencing systems, telephone systems, and web‑based communication platforms.
4. Administer core network services such as VPN, DHCP, IP routing, and internet access permissions.
5. Set up and maintain employee email accounts, system access rights, and user profiles.
6. Support and troubleshoot weak current systems such as telephone lines, access control, and surveillance systems (CCTV).
7. Perform system updates, antivirus management, and basic cybersecurity tasks to protect company assets.
8. Conduct regular IT room inspections and support IT asset lifecycle management (deployment, tracking, disposal).
9. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors on IT‑related projects, upgrades, and maintenance work.
10. Support management in resolving IT‑related business or compliance matters when required. 

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of national and local IT regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
4. Strong coordination skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
5. Professional appearance, good cultural awareness, and a responsible work attitude.
6. Proficiency in Mandarin is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
