◇Role Overview:
At Shu Uemura we are searching for a visionary Communication Manager who will champion our brand's strategic communications. We particularly encourage candidates with profound expertise in digital media and extensive experience in either influencer marketing or public relations.
This position demands demonstrated leadership in project execution and a proven ability to effectively manage complex multi channel campaigns. The successful candidate will play a role in increasing brand awareness engagement and consideration. We are seeking an individual who possesses both strategic foresight and exceptional execution capabilities.
◇Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Innovate Media Strategy:
Spearhead the brand's media strategy applying a robust PDCA (Plan Do Check Act) cycle to ensure peak performance and maximized outcomes.
Leverage deep knowledge of the latest digital platforms and analytical prowess to drive innovative media deployments.
Develop and Execute Social Media or PR Strategies:
Formulate and implement social media or PR strategies that are aligned with global brand communication guidelines and local business objectives for the Japanese market.
Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key media contacts (magazine digital social media platforms etc.) to achieve comprehensive 360 degree brand communication.
Build robust relationships and develop innovative programs with influencers or media to stimulate content creation and significantly boost consumer engagement.
Establish and maintain strong networks with external partners talent agencies and social media agencies to foster highly effective collaborations.
Optimize Data Analysis Performance Management:
Establish qualitative and quantitative KPIs for all activities. Track and analyze performance.
Analyze traffic and social data to extract insights. Use these insights for campaign planning content optimization and strategic plans.
Synthesize insights into operational reports. Drive optimization and efficiency.
Oversee budget for managed activities. Ensure agencies achieve performance and ROI.
Drive Cross Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with other communication teams (e.g. PR organic social reviewer media) to lead the execution of integrated 360° communication action plans.
Actively support other internal teams and departments contributing collectively to the achievement of overarching business objectives.
People management:
Lead and manage team member(s) by providing dedicated support nurturing their growth and helping each individual realize their full potential.
Inspire the team provide strategic direction and guide them towards achieving the brand's business goals.

◇Must Have Aspects 必須項目
・8+ years of proven experience in media (media agency in house) and PR or influencer marketing (agency or in house digital roles)
・Strong understanding of the beauty/fashion industry and demonstrated creativity out of the box thinking
・Exceptional networking and communication skills
・Strong project management capabilities including robust planning and execution skills
・Business level English fluency and native level Japanese proficiency
・Proficiency in PC Microsoft Office

・Strong proficiency in data driven marketing leveraging digital analytics tools such as Sprinklr Traackr and Google Analytics
