Job Description
- Design, implement and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Identify bottlenecks and develop solutions for cost reduction and waste elimination.
- Apply lean, six sigma or other improvement methodologies to streamline workflows
- Manage and mentor engineers and staff, building technical and problem solving capabilities
- Provide training on process improvement tools and methodologies
- Evaluate existing manufacturing/operations processes for efficiency, cost and quality
- Standardize workflows to ensure repeatability and scalability
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement across departments
- Ensure processes meet ISO, OSHA and industry-specific regulations
- Audit processes to ensure adherence to standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Master's degree or MBA (prefer)
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing cable assembly, semiconductor industry and 2 years in management role
- Hands on experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, quality control systems, safety.
