A Global Automotive firm is seeking an experienced IAM Specialist / Senior IAM Specialist to design, build, and lead the transition to a new enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform. One of the most critical components of this transition is the establishment of a new, independent IAM foundation to support secure and scalable business operations.
This role is highly strategic and hands-on, combining architecture design, migration leadership, provider coordination, and long-term operational ownership. Rather than focusing on a single IAM product, the position requires a professional capable of designing a robust, future-ready identity platform aligned with business and security objectives. You will work closely with global technical teams and external partners while leading a core infrastructure capability for the organization
Responsibilities:
- Define enterprise IAM architecture aligned with mid- to long-term business and security requirements
- Evaluate and select scalable, resilient IAM technologies and design patterns independent of specific vendors
- Design identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access control models
- Ensure alignment of IAM architecture with security policies and overall IT infrastructure strategy
- Lead separation and migration from legacy/shared IAM environments to new infrastructure
- Oversee data migration, system integration, and cutover processes to maintain continuity and security
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to external partners and service providers
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and quality considerations for IAM transformation
- Establish operational processes, governance frameworks, and SLA/monitoring structures for IAM services
- Identify optimization opportunities and integrate emerging technology and security trends
- Collaborate with domestic and global stakeholders, translating technical topics into business-relevant guidance
- Build strong partnerships with vendors, providers, and internal teams to ensure effective IAM operations
Why should you apply:
- This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the evolution of enterprise-scale infrastructure within a globally recognized commercial vehicle manufacturer. It is particularly attractive for infrastructure professionals who enjoy architecture, transformation programs, and cross-border collaboration
- Strategic involvement in enterprise datacenter modernization initiatives
- High-impact role combining architecture, migration, and product ownership
- Close collaboration with global IT and infrastructure organizations
- Exposure to complex, business-critical technology environments
- Stable, globally respected organization with long-term technology investment
