Data Site Reliability Engineer Manager N2

A Global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provider is looking for a strong bilingual leader for the  Data Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

Responsibilities:
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and stability of enterprise data platforms
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across data pipelines, Spark, databases, and cloud infrastructure
- Perform root cause analysis, lead post-mortems, and drive corrective/preventive actions
- Design and maintain automation to reduce operational toil and improve efficiency
- Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability using industry-standard tools
- Apply SRE best practices including incident response, reliability principles, and operational metrics
- Operate and optimize hybrid On-Premise and Microsoft Azure data platforms and infrastructure
- Support containerized and cloud-native workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
- Collaborate with global and Japanese stakeholders, acting as a technical lead within the SRE/data engineering function
- Drive continuous improvement, governance, and compliance while delivering enhancements using agile practices

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays

- Over all 10 Years of Experience with  3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Data SRE, supporting data platforms or enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience operating hybrid cloud environments (On-Prem + Azure)
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Spark, Bash, and/or PowerShell
- Solid experience with observability and logging tools: Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, ELK
- Strong working knowledge of Azure cloud services, especially data-related services
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Strong understanding of core infrastructure concepts: networking, firewalls, DNS, load balancers, Active Directory, Windows/RHEL, and security
