Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and deliver SAP implementation and transformation projects for enterprise clients in Japan. The role requires strong leadership in planning, execution, stakeholder management, and coordination between business and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP project delivery from initiation through go-live and support.
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
Coordinate with business users, SAP functional/technical teams, and vendors.
Plan and control SAP implementation, rollout, and migration activities.
Facilitate workshops, status meetings, and steering committee reporting.
Ensure adherence to project governance and SAP best practices.
Identify issues early and drive resolution with stakeholders.
Support change management and user adoption activities.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience as an SAP Project Manager on large-scale SAP programs.
Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementations.
Experience managing cross-functional SAP teams (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
Solid understanding of SAP project lifecycle and delivery methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
Native Japanese or JLPT N1 level communication ability.
Experience in manufacturing SAP projects is a big plus.
