My client is a well‑established energy solutions provider operating across Asia, focusing on developing and managing energy‑related projects and supporting infrastructure growth in the region. We are looking for an independent Assistant Finance Manager to join the Finance Team, to cover the general finance work across the region.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Handle month‑end closing and generate financial reports and analysis.
Support quarterly consolidation and budgeting exercises.
Manage GST, WHT, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Coordinate with tax advisors on corporate tax matters and regulatory filings.
Liaise with auditors and prepare statutory financial statements.
Support system‑related troubleshooting, internal controls, and process improvements.
Provide backup coverage for AP/AR functions.
Perform ad‑hoc duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
5–7 years of experience in accounting/financial reporting.
Regional Exposure would be advantageous.
Professional certification (CPA/CA/ACCA) preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and closing processes.
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
Good communication and teamwork skills
