Job Description
Principal Areas of Accountability
- Managing material receipt and verification as per defined procedures.
- Ensuring documentation and data control on the shop floor in compliance with SOPs.
- Overseeing scrap and rejection management, including proper disposal handling.
- Ensuring effective preservation, storage, and identification of materials within the store.
- Monitoring and controlling material feeding for direct items.
- Identifying training needs for operators and associates; supporting education and evaluation activities.
Key Competencies Required
- Ability to identify Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) risks.
- Proficiency in SAP MM module, Supplier Portal, and MS Office.
- Strong skills in inventory management and perpetual inventory practices.
- Experience in material feeding control and bins/trolley management.
- Knowledge of FIFO management and overall inventory tracking.
