Job Title: Regional Compliance and Privacy Manager, Asia

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage Compliance and Privacy activities at both local and regional levels. This role ensures strict alignment with global standards, local regulations, and internal policies. As a key member of the regional team, you will provide strategic direction to local stakeholders and drive the enhancement of compliance programs across the Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with local stakeholders to provide strategic and operational advice on Compliance and Privacy matters.

• Develop and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect local requirements, utilizing regional templates where applicable to ensure consistency.

• Conduct periodic local compliance risk assessments and ongoing monitoring to proactively identify vulnerabilities.

• Identify, manage, and escalate potential Compliance/Privacy issues effectively; lead and support investigations into suspected violations of policies or regulations.

• Design and deliver training programs, monitor completion rates, and promote a culture of awareness regarding ethical standards.

• Drive the continuous improvement of Compliance and Privacy programs within the Asia region as an integral member of the regional Compliance and Privacy team.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Compliance experience is required, ideally within Life Sciences or another highly regulated industry.
• 3+ years of hands-on Privacy experience is essential.
• Deep familiarity with Compliance and Privacy frameworks and industry practices (e.g., Code of Conduct/Code of Practice, ABAC, Data Privacy, Human Rights, TPRM, Sustainability compliance).
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the region.
• Experience in regional or multi-country roles is highly preferred.
