Our client is a leader in advanced analytical and measuring instruments, and their innovative solutions are pivotal for customers in diverse sectors across Singapore. They are expanding their sales team and seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development and increase sales volumes with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct engaging sales activities, including cold-calling, meetings, and presentations.
• Perform product demonstrations and showcase equipment capabilities to clients.
• Provide expert technical advice and support, guiding customers through product selection and quality assurance.
• Determine customer needs, recommend optimal specifications and solutions, and manage pricing.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams for pricing, scheduling, and technical requirements.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• At least 2 years of successful experience in sales, ideally within the Singapore market. Experience managing customers in academia, government, or chemical industries is a plus.

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with laboratory managers, professors, PhD level scientists, and technicians.

• Familiarity with CRM systems will be an advantage.
