【SCM/ Logistics Manager】Global SCM Company-Full Remote

Position Overview

A global company logistics and supply chain company is seeking a Manager to oversee and strengthen its partner network in Japan and across the APAC region.

This role is responsible for managing partner relationships, driving performance against KPIs, ensuring service quality and compliance, and collaborating closely with regional and global stakeholders to optimize operations. This is a key position supporting high-quality, scalable supply chain services for multinational clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and agents in Japan and across APAC
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous performance improvement
• Ensure logistics operations, service quality, and compliance standards are met
• Support selection, onboarding, and contract negotiation of new partners
• Conduct on-site and virtual audits under management supervision
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams to support SOP development, reporting, and service improvements
• Support new customer onboarding and business pipeline development
• Maintain high standards of trade compliance (IOR / EOR)
• Support revenue management and new business initiatives

Required Qualifications/ Must have

• 7+ years of experience in vendor management (3PL)
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or related industries
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs
• Business-level English (Spoken and written)
• Native-level Japanese
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment
• Willingness to travel as required

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Knowledge of trade compliance and import/export regulations
• Experience working in a global or multinational company
• SOP creation, reporting, and process improvement experience
• Understanding of warehouse operations and transportation
• After-sales or service supply chain experience
